TellBelief – suggest some books on Lord Shiva.

You come across many books about Lord Shiva and his Power, Manthras, Temples, etc.

One of the Author named Amish Tripathi who is living in our generation, had written about Lord Shiva but in different style.

Don’t think too much. He wrote a story about Lord Shiva as Neelkanth, a great human being, mighty warrior and Commander in his story.

The Author wrote whole story in 3 volumes as Shiva’s trilogy.

All were written and published 3 years back but still worth reading.

You’ll get good experience and never boring.

Volume 1 :  The Immortals of Meluha

The author is taking you to Before Christ Period and the new land, Meluha.

The land created before Lord Ram and was one of the greatest monarchs that ever lived.

The story started with the issues like their primary river Saraswati  slowly drying, Suryavanshi rulers getting terrorist attacks and their opponent Chandravanshis allied with Nagas.

The only hope for the Suryavanshis is an ancient legend: ‘When evil reaches epic proportions, when all seems lost, when it appears that your enemies have triumphed, a hero will emerge.’

The Hero,  Neelkant is indroduced.

Volume 2 The Secret Of The Nagas


One of Naga warrior has killed Neelkanth friend Brahaspati and follow  his wife Sati. Neelkanth, the Tibetan immigrant who is the prophesied destroyer of evil, will not rest till he finds his demonic adversary. His vengeance and the path to evil will lead him to the door of the Nagas, the serpent people.

It is conclusion part of Shiva Trilogy.

Shiva is gathering his forces. He reaches the Naga capital, Panchavati, and Evil is finally revealed. The Neelkanth prepares for a holy war against his true enemy, a man whose name instills dread in the fiercest of warriors.

India convulses under the onslaught of a series of brutal battles. It’s a war for the very soul of the nation. Many will die. But Shiva must not fail, no matter what the cost. In his desperation, he reaches out to the ones who have never offered any help to him: the Vayuputras.

The author is taking to battle field and make us to experience of different feelings.
